This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") outlines how we handle personal information in relation to Peruse (hereinafter referred to as the "App"), which is provided by us.
The App stores RSS feed subscriptions, saved web articles, reading states, and related data on the User's device. This data may also be synced to the User's iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit service to enable access across multiple devices. Data stored in iCloud is managed under Apple's privacy policy and is encrypted in accordance with Apple's security standards. We do not have access to or control over data stored in the User's iCloud account.
Users can manage or disable iCloud sync through their device's Settings. Locally stored data is deleted when the App is uninstalled, but data stored in iCloud may persist until the User manually deletes it.
To improve the quality of the App and for other related purposes, we use Firebase Analytics to collect information about how the App is used.

We do not store any personally identifiable information unless it is provided voluntarily through inquiries. Data collected via Firebase is anonymized and used solely for analytical and debugging purposes.
To troubleshoot issues and improve the quality of the App, we use Firebase Crashlytics to collect information related to app crashes.

The App accesses RSS feed URLs and web article URLs provided by the User in order to fetch and display content. These requests are made directly from the User's device. We do not use this data for any purpose other than providing the App's functionality.
The App also performs background network requests to periodically refresh RSS feeds while the App is not in the foreground. These requests are initiated by the iOS system based on scheduling conditions and are made directly from the User's device. No content from these requests is sent to our servers.
The App may request permission to send push notifications to the User's device. Notifications are used solely to inform Users of new articles from RSS feeds they have starred. Users can manage or disable notifications at any time through the device's Settings.
